Selah Notes (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Selah Notes mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
By using Selah Notes, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We only collect the following information:
Email address: Collected when you create an account or sign in to the App so we can associate your notes with your account and provide access to your data across devices.
We do not intentionally collect any other personal information.
We use your email address to:
Create and maintain your Selah Notes account.
Tie your notes and other in-app data to your account so you can access them securely.
Communicate with you about essential service-related matters (for example, account issues, security notices, or critical changes to the App).
We do not sell your personal information.
Selah Notes uses Supabase as its backend service to store and manage your data, including your email address and the notes associated with your account. Your data is stored on Supabase’s infrastructure, and Supabase processes this data on our behalf.
Supabase may collect and process some technical and usage data as part of providing its services (for example, logs, device information, and connection details), in accordance with its own privacy practices.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or a similar region with data protection laws, we process your email address because it is necessary to provide the App and fulfill our contract with you (i.e., to create and maintain your account and store your notes).
We retain your email address and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (or request deletion), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to any legal or technical requirements to retain certain data.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Selah Notes is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or a higher age if required by the laws of your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your personal information.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
