Using Tags to Organize Your Notes

Tags help you categorize and quickly find your notes in Selah Notes. With tags, you can group related ideas, sermons, or topics together, making your notes more organized and easier to search.

How to Add Tags

  1. Open the note you want to tag.

  2. Tap the "Plus" button to open up the note options sheet

  3. Select "Add tags"

  4. Choose from your list, or press "Add new tag" to create a new one

Managing Tags from Settings

You can also create, edit, or delete tags from the Settings screen:

  1. Open Settings in Selah Notes.

  2. Go to the Tags section.

  3. Use the options to add new tags, rename existing tags, or delete tags you no longer need.

Tips for Organizing with Tags

  • Use multiple tags: A note can have more than one tag, so you can cross-reference topics.

  • Keep them short: One or two words per tag makes searching easier.

  • Review periodically: Merge or delete duplicate tags to keep your system clean.

Finding Notes by Tags

  1. Go to the Tags section in Selah Notes.

  2. Tap a tag to view all notes associated with it.

  3. Use multiple tags together to narrow down results.
