How to Insert Scripture in Your Note

There are two ways to add a scripture reference to any note in Selah Notes. Either method will insert the verse as an inline pill directly in your text.

Method 1: Type a Reference Inline

The fastest way to insert scripture is to simply type a reference as you write.

  1. Type a scripture reference in your note — for example: John 3:16
  2. Press Space after the final character of the reference.
  3. The reference will automatically transform into a scripture pill.

Supported formats include:

  • Single verse: John 3:16
  • Verse range: John 3:16-17
  • Entire chapter: John 3:*

Quick Tip

For quicker insertions, you can use valid book abbreviations

Method 2: Use the Scripture Picker

If you'd prefer to browse or aren't sure of an exact reference, use the Scripture Picker in the toolbar.
