This release is mostly about the Bible reader and making Selah easier to read. Here's what's new in 1.0.16.
KJV, ASV and WEB now include section headings, Psalm titles, red-letter text and poetry line breaks, with or without a connection. That formatting used to show up only in online translations.
NIV, AMP, NASB, EasyEnglish, five French translations and Telugu are back in the translation picker, along with language filters to help you find them.
When you're offline, online-only translations are marked as unavailable, and the reader offers to switch you to one that's built into the app. Chapters you've already opened now stay saved, so they're still there the next time you lose signal.
A new Reading Text Size setting (Small, Default, Large and Extra Large) applies to both the Bible and your notes. Scripture cards, the verse preview and note titles follow it too, so everything stays in proportion as you go bigger.
On iOS it's in the toolbar menu. On Android it's in a sheet. Text at the largest system sizes on Android is now sized correctly in the editor, too.
The book list now opens scrolled to the book you're reading, with a checkmark next to it. The verse grid also works for every translation again.
